Bun B. Hear has compared writing for Rod Stewart’s new album to that on ‘Encore: The Very Best Of, Vol. 2′ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. This is one of the best Cd’s Rod Stewart has dropped to date. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Rod Stewart’s album Encore: The Very Best Of, Vol. 2 falls to No. 2 with 308,000, a sales slide of 61%. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
Having A Party (Live; feat. Ronnie Wood) is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Don’t Come Around Here (feat. Helicopter Girl) very upbeat. Rod Stewart has astounded me with this amazing track. The Motown Girl (feat. The Temptations) gives taste of what makes Rod Stewart special as a musician. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Broken Arrow. Crazy About Her is simple, dignified and effective, Rod Stewart refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Get Encore: The Very Best Of, Vol. 2 and turn on Lost In You if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Rod Stewart must have run out of lyrics on the next track Love Touch. People Get Ready (Live) (4:46) a good melody. Rod Stewart breathes new life into the music in Infatuation. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Rod Stewart. Best song on the album, love it. I loved Thats What Friends Are For the first time I heard it. Passion is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. Although I Don’t Want To Talk About It is very melodic it is far from sad. Opening track I Was Only Joking shows the best of Rod Stewart. The First Cut Is The Deepest is really the reason why I recommend buying Encore: The Very Best Of, Vol. 2.
