‘Je Voyage’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Charles Aznavour was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Charles Aznavour and Je Voyage together. This is the first studio album from Charles Aznavour since bad diagnosis in 2003. If I may, I suggest “Lisboa”. That one song is amazing!
In Je N’Entends Rien the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. After about the third Quelqu’un de Diffnt listen through, I began to believe this song is Charles Aznavour’s essence. Des Mots very upbeat. Critique to me is the best you can get from Charles Aznavour. Vocals of Charles Aznavour in Je Voyage - Charles Aznavour, Katia Aznavour really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. So much energy, so exciting a sound.It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Je Voyage couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track y a des Trains. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Des Amis des Deux C - This one is lively and fun. This song may be the most meaningful.
