While no new Sisqo album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2001 tour in Europe. Return of Dragon isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. twelve years ago, Sisqo briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Not Afraid”. Return of Dragon touched my soul like nothing else.
Not Afraid is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Sisqo must have run out of lyrics on the next track Infatuated. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Without You is probably the most interesting track on Return of Dragon. Homewrecker is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. The opening track Last Night is very much like you would expect from other albums. Close Your Eyes (interlude) gets you up and jumping. The song feels complete. Dance For Me make listening to Sisqo like being in some sort of time warp. Off The Corner is a gorgeous song and it grows on you. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive.
