On the Lithuania charts, superstar Conway Twitty’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. This is the first studio album from Conway Twitty since bad diagnosis in 2003. For older fans Conway Rocks will put a massive smile accross your face. Conway Rocks is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
Don’t You Know one is one of the better boring ones. Conway Twitty sings Double Talk Baby in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. I like to sing along with Give Me Some Love, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Hey Little Lucy (Don’tcha Put No Lipstick On) is a perfect sing-along. Hey Miss Ruby had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Once you hear I Vibrate (From My Head to My Feet), you will listen to it over and over. It’s Only Make Believe is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. The song feels complete. Mona Lisa is Conway Twitty’s best work in years. Rock House - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Shake It Up (2:39) - awsome. Teasin’ is just simply stunning. Restless is probably one of Conway Twitty’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. She’s Mine - This one is lively and fun. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Pretty Eyed Baby is the marvelous blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Rebound is really the reason why I recommend buying Conway Rocks. Lonely Blue Boy is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. I like Hurt in My Heart because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Tell Me One More Time is exquisite song though, very addictive. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Long Black Train. It’s Driving Me Wild one of the best in my collection. Blue Suede Shoes - For me, this is the best of the album. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Conway Twitty. Music in Can’t We Go Steady is excellent as in all tracks of Conway Rocks. I’ve found myself listening to Such a Night back to back and back many times. My Baby Left Me on Conway Rocks is solid and easy to listen to. From the moment you listen to My Babe you’re hooked. Is a Blue Bird Blue? is the most memorable and excellent.
