Salif Keita was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Salif Keita and Folon together. Folon isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. There is no doubt that Salif Keita has talent. This album is awesome.
Mandiou I just LOVE this mix! In Africa the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Nyanyama - A classic Salif Keita track. Mandela is nothing but pure genius. Sumun is a song to enjoy for years to come. Seydou is simply amazing. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. The opening track Folon is very much like you would expect from other albums.
