John Digester has compared writing for Neophyte’s new album to that on ‘Ad Vitam Aeternam’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. While no new Neophyte album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2002 tour in Australia. After seeing Petit Comedien, I had to have a good Neophyte cd. Overall, I would highly recommend Ad Vitam Aeternam CD.
In Prisonier de ma Conscience the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Chaos - I like this one. Versatile - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Mourrir Ensemble - To me, this is the best song on the Ad Vitam Aeternam. In J’accumule et J’aligne full palet of sound is used by Neophyte to accentuate the presentation. L’axe is a medium tempo tune. Dogme makes a person feel excellent. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Ecchymose, which shows, blatantly, how much Neophyte has evolved as a singer. Rebellion Aseptisee which is my favorite is a truly Neophyte sounding song. I like the agression and power of Pourvu Que ca se Finisse.
