Since P.Diddy last CD (Platinum Collection’2000) on Sparrow Records back in 2000, I have felt a massive void in my life. P.Diddy was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from P.Diddy and Platinum Collection’2000 together. Since completing 2000’s ‘Been Around The World’, P.Diddy fulfilled their contract with Sparrow Records and where under no obligation to release another album. This album is a scorcher!
The song feels complete. In Come With Me (Feat. Jimmy Page) you won’t find any flashy solos. The song Do It Again (With Mase) ending is my favorite… so catchy! A fantastic track full of wonder. Don’t Stop What You’re Doing (Feat. Lil’kim) is the first taste of the new album. Hate Me Now (With Nas) - a classic song. Honey (With Mariah Carey Feat. Mase and The Lox) - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. I’ll Be Missing You (Feat. Faith Evans&112) is the song that really did it for me. It’s All About Benjamins (5:00) a good melody. No Money Mo Problem is a good listen every once in a while. No Time (With Lil’kim) has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets P.Diddy’s strong vocals come to the fore. No Way Out (Intro) is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. P.e. 2000 (Feat. Hurricane G) is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Roxanne (Puff Duddy Remix; Sting and The Police) is another favourite of mine. We’ll Allways Love Big Poppa is a amazing song and it grows on you.
