After debuting at No. 1 last week, P.Diddy’s album Lets Get Ill falls to No. 2 with 249,000, a sales slide of 59%. ‘Lets Get Ill’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. This disc has all of the essential P.Diddy classics. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
Best Friend - For me, this is the best of the album. Do You Like It Do You Want It can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what P.Diddy is all about. This song stands out greatly from the others. Diddy is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. P.Diddy is one of artists that allow his songs like I Need A Girl to stand on their own and be heard. I have all of P.Diddy’s tracks and Come With Me is probably the most his introspective effort. Ill Be Missing is a astounding song and it grows on you. Ill Do This For You is perfect. Lyrics of Roxanne are precise and evocative. Lets Get Ill couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Senorita. Although PE 2000 is very melodic it is far from sad. Do It Again gives good insight into the truths. First time I heard What You Want Ill Do This For You was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Voice of P.Diddy in Cant Nobody Hold Me Down is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Dont Stop What Youre Doing - arguably the best track on Lets Get Ill album. The Last Song on Lets Get Ill is solid and easy to listen to. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Thank You is my favorite song on Lets Get Ill. If you are a P.Diddy fan, you will love Lets Get Ill.
