Blues Brothers Complete (cd1) is an amazing album, racked with beauty.There is no doubt that Blues Brothers has talent. This is the first studio album from Blues Brothers since bad diagnosis in 2000. Blues Brothers Complete (cd1) touched my soul like nothing else.
Shot Gun Blues - I just love it. Groove Me is absolutely incredible. B Movie Box Car Blues hits the heart. Flip Flop And Fly without a doubt is the standout song of Blues Brothers Complete (cd1). The sound in She Caught The Katy is really warm and Blues Brothers’s signature voice is still very much present. Peter Gunn Theme is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Blues Brothers must have run out of lyrics on the next track I Don’t Know. Opening I Can’t Turn You Loose - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Blues Brothers. Everybody Needs Somebody To Love is a strong cut, one of many. Gimme Some Lovin’ one of the best in my collection. Think is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Blues Brothers offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Only one song from Blues Brothers Complete (cd1) named Soul Finger really got me. Messin’ With The Kid is one of my favorite songs by Blues Brothers. Hey Bartender is the most memorable and perfect. I loved Rubber Biscuit the first time I heard it.
