On the Malaysia charts, superstar Pastor Troy’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Pastor Troy on ‘Face Off - Intro’. There is so much to love about Pastor Troy, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. This is my first Pastor Troy Album and i must say i am blown away.
This Tha City - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Frame Me have really caught my ear and imagination. Album opener My Naiggz Is The Grind is a bright, upbeat ditty. Move To Mars - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. I’m Made gives good insight into the truths. Can You Stand The Game is one of my favorite songs by Pastor Troy. In Throw Your Flags Out Pastor Troy is at his best. Voice of Pastor Troy in Vica Versa is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. No Mo Play In GA is one of the coolest songs Pastor Troy has ever recorded. Rhonda is the most memorable and gorgeous. Eternal Yard Dash - A classic Pastor Troy track. Prayer is the album’s biggest hit, I think. This is one hell of a track.
