It has been fifteen years Les Miserables’ last studio CD, “Les Misirables (1-2)” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. After seeing Ouverture, I had to have a good Les Miserables cd. Self-described as Pop with lots of words, Les Miserables comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. I wish that “Les Misirables (1-2)” album was instrumental.
Le bagne - Pitii, pitii I just LOVE this mix! This song is dynamic and dramatic. Pourquoi ai-je permis a cet ho is marvelous song though, very addictive. Quand un jour est passi as a highlight of Les Misirables (1-2) contains a ton of astounding melodies. J’avais rkvi is another favourite of mine. Charming song, great melody. This track is a great song that still never gets old. La mort de Fantine is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Les Misirables (1-2) have ended. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Une poupie dans la vitrine can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Les Miserables is all about. Maotre Thinardier make listening to Les Miserables like being in some sort of time warp. As always, Les Miserables’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. Bonjour Paris is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Les Miserables ever produced. Sous les itoiles have really caught my ear and imagination. Les Miserables has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. Rouge la flamme de la colire is worth the money. A la volonti du peuple is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction.
