It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Boxcar Racer energies, virtually a rebirth. Boxcar Racer is an amazing album, racked with beauty.This fourteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Boxcar Racer has. I wish that “Boxcar Racer” album was instrumental.
This track is clearly meant to showcase Boxcar Racer’s vocal abilities. Watch the World is one of the best records ever. Tiny Voices is almost impossible to review. When listening to Cat Like Theif, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. This song is dynamic and dramatic. What sets Letters to God apart is Boxcar Racer’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. My First Punk Song is possibly the best song Boxcar Racer has come up. Sorrow make listening to Boxcar Racer like being in some sort of time warp. There Is - a classic song. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Boxcar Racer couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Elevator. Instrumental is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade.
