I am not a real Rock: Punk-Rock music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Still Screaming-This Side Up’ really is amazing. This -song debut EP shows the promise that Scream has. Scream’s debut, ‘Still Screaming-This Side Up’, does not fit easily into one genre. I wish that “Still Screaming-This Side Up” album was instrumental.
Bedlam is probably one of Scream’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Solidarity rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Scream must have run out of lyrics on the next track Your Wars/Killer. Piece of Her Time is simple, dignified and effective, Scream refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Human Behavior is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Scream. Fight/American Justice has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. If you are a Scream fan, you will love New Song. Laissez Faire very upbeat. Influenced gives taste of what makes Scream special as a musician. Hygiene is such a astounding and optimistic song that things can get just better. Cry Wolf can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Scream is all about. Total Mash - I just love it. Scream has astounded me with this amazing track. Amerarockers I just LOVE this mix! In U. Suck A. /We’re Fed Up it becomes nowhere more obvious that Scream has yet to define own style. Album opener Ultra Violence/Screamin’ is a bright, upbeat ditty. Only one song from Still Screaming-This Side Up named Violent Youth really got me. From the moment you listen to Bet You Never Thought you’re hooked. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. This Side Up is a medium tempo tune. Gluesniff is the first taste of the new album. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. No Money Down actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Scream’s face. I have all of Scream’s tracks and Show and Tell Me Baby is probably the most his introspective effort. Zoo Closes at Dark - A classic Scream track. All of songs on Still Screaming-This Side Up and have something to say letting alone I Look When You Talk. Iron Curtain is the funkiest number on the album. Excellent vocals and musical performances.
