Now signed to Michel Sardou’s SixSteps records, the title track from second album “Bercy 2001″ leads Michel Sardou’s back-to-school campaign. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Michel Sardou energies, virtually a rebirth. This -song debut EP shows the promise that Michel Sardou has. I Love Bercy 2001 from start to finish!
J’accuse is cool song though, very addictive. The first time I listened to Chanteur De Jazz I was struck by its marvelous sound. L’avenir C’est Toujours Pour Demain - I just love it. Rouge is one of my favorite songs by Michel Sardou. Les Villes De Solitude - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. I love the melodic melody of Le Privilege and to this day it makes me feel good. Tu Te Reconnaitras is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Maman is the most memorable and exquisite. I’ve found myself listening to Putain De Temps back to back and back many times. Afrique Adieu makes a person feel astounding. Michel Sardou has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. In Etre Une Femme Michel Sardou is at his best. Le Bac G is the albums biggest surprise. Parce Que C’etait Lui, Parce Que C’etait Moi is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. L’autre Femme is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Corsica one is one of the better boring ones. La Bataille is a amazing, simple song by Michel Sardou at the top of his game. Musulmanes is almost impossible to review. Once L’an Mil gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Francais is one of the best records ever. Salut - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Cette Chanson-la - A classic Michel Sardou track.
