Self-described as Folk with lots of words, Helene Segara comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Helene Segara was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Helene Segara and En concert E L’Olympia (cd1) together. It’s natural for Helene Segara to take a stab at ‘Auprs de ceux que j’aimais’ considering her long-professed love for EMF. I wish that “En concert E L’Olympia (cd1)” album was instrumental.
Upside Down hits the heart. Blew our minds when we first heard Elle tu l’aimes. Mes roves disaient la vorit is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Mrs Jones - My least favorite song on this album. Voice and instruments in Les valles d’Irlande complement each other. When I listen to Loin du froid de decembre in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Parlez moi de nous because the melody in the chorus is so good. Helene Segara must have run out of lyrics on the next track Je vous aime adieu. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in En concert E L’Olympia (cd1). This is one hell of a track.
