There were many famous songs of Twisted available. This album has some very good songs like Intro and Mutant X. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Twisted energies, virtually a rebirth. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Freak Show.
The opening track Mutant X is very much like you would expect from other albums. One listen to the sheer beauty of We Don’t Die was all I needed. Fall Apart sets the tone for the entire album. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. I have all of Twisted’s tracks and Do You Really Know is probably the most his introspective effort. Twisted has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. I loved People Are Strange the first time I heard it. Still going through Freak Show and coming to appreciate All I Ever Wanted more and more with every listen. I Wanna Be… is beautiful, yet underrated track. Bagz is such a marvelous and optimistic song that things can get just better. Wut The Dead Like - A classic Twisted track. Empty is a strong cut, one of many. Twisted offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Broken Wingz is a perfect song and it grows on you. Maniac Killa is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Different can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Twisted is all about. I was truly moved when I heard I’m Alright. As always, Twisted’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again.
