Mango was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Mango and Disincanto together. Since Mango last CD (Disincanto) on Mute Records back in 2002, I have felt a massive void in my life. After seeing Gli Angeli Non Volano, I had to have a good Mango cd. Exciting stuff.
This song stands out greatly from the others. Non Moriremo Mai is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Ho Consumato la Notte on Disincanto is solid and easy to listen to. Album opener Mi Piaci Accanto is a bright, upbeat ditty. Listening to Michelle you can hear that Mango has still amazing chemistry with band members. E Mi Basta il Mare - A strong beat. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Mango offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Amore Non Torna is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Mango released so far. Sono Sentimentale one of the best in my collection. Mango emotions are reflected through Rondine. So much energy, so exciting a sound.
