After seeing Shot Shot, I had to have a good Gomez cd. Self-described as Rock: Pop-Rock with lots of words, Gomez comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Gomez. IT makes me wanna dance!
It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Detroit Swing 66 catches attention immediately, In Our Gun - A nice song. This song stands out greatly from the others. Ruff Stuff have really caught my ear and imagination. Sound Of Sounds - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Army Dub is the albums biggest surprise. Miles End is simply perfect. Ping One Down is really the reason why I recommend buying In Our Gun. I think 1000 Times is the best song Gomez has ever done. Drench is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in In Our Gun.
