four years ago, Wu-Tang Clan briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Triumph”. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Wu-Tang Clan’s album The Shaolin Style falls to No. 2 with 882,000, a sales slide of 85%. Lead single “Wu Gambinos” and “Triumph” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Last Hot Album by Wu-Tang Clan
Triumph without a doubt is the standout song of The Shaolin Style. The Ambush (4:05) - awsome. Shadowboxin’ is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Living in the World Today is absolutely incredible. Killa Beez is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Wu-Tang Clan released so far. I like to sing along with Glocko Pop, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Chamber Music is one of the more up-tempo songs on The Shaolin Style. In Glacier Of Ice full palet of sound is used by Wu-Tang Clan to accentuate the presentation. A unique and uplifting song. I think Back in the Game is the best song Wu-Tang Clan has ever done. And Justice For All can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Wu-Tang Clan is all about. America is the albums biggest surprise.
