Stanley Donwood has compared writing for Wu-Tang Clan’s new album to that on ‘The Iron Flag’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. There is so much to love about Wu-Tang Clan, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. This is the first studio album from Wu-Tang Clan since bad diagnosis in 2001. I Love The Iron Flag from start to finish!
The opening track Rules is very much like you would expect from other albums. Chrome Wheels have really caught my ear and imagination. Soul Power B Jungle is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Uzi (Pinky Ring) I just LOVE this mix! One Of These Days is a medium tempo tune. Yall Be Warned is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Babies is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Radioactive the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. After few listenings I started to like Iron Flag more and more. Dashing Regions rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo.
