While no new Sandman album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2000 tour in Australia. Sandman’s debut, ‘Psycho Toons’, does not fit easily into one genre. Lead single “U Turn” and “Loop In Control” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This album is a scorcher!
A fantastic track full of wonder. Lyrics of The Attack Of The Killer Virus are precise and evocative. Psycho Toons is outstanding work of Sandman. Sandman allows each song to breathe and flourish. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. Sandman is hitting on all cylinders in Layla. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity.
