I am not a real Folk music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Ta Chromota Tou Chronou, Vol. 1 (cd1)’ really is amazing. While no new George Dalaras album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2000 tour in Asia. This -song debut EP shows the promise that George Dalaras has. IF you love George Dalaras, ‘Ta Chromota Tou Chronou, Vol. 1 (cd1)’ Mp3’s is the best!
Simple and heartfelt closing track I Miss the Years closes Ta Chromota Tou Chronou, Vol. 1 (cd1) on a high note. The opening track I Have a Coffee-Shop is very much like you would expect from other albums. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. This is probably my favorite song on the album. What If My Coat Is Soaked hits the heart. My Sweet Swallow is the most memorable and gorgeous. Mother, We Left Our Land Untended - arguably the best track on Ta Chromota Tou Chronou, Vol. 1 (cd1) album. I love the melodic melody of Fine, Everything Is Fine and to this day it makes me feel good. Strong, powerful vocals of George Dalaras in Knock on the Door are very impressive. Death of a Poet is a gorgeous sing-along. The song feels complete. Once you hear In the Bosphorus Alleyways, you will listen to it over and over. George Dalaras allows each song to breathe and flourish. Light Is Here is a fine track on any terms. Convensation With a Flower as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Playground is really a nice song to relax and listen too. I came to like Idle Smokestacks. Tree is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Please, Bright Sun - This one is lively and fun. Such hits like “Zeybekides” will leave you hooked. Don’t Get Angry, My Love as a highlight of Ta Chromota Tou Chronou, Vol. 1 (cd1) contains a ton of amazing melodies.
