Apo Kardias, CD1 isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. After seeing Marainom’ O Kahmenos, I had to have a good George Dalaras cd. ‘Apo Kardias, CD1′ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. To me George Dalaras is the best band ever.
An Deis Ston Ypno Sou Thn Erhmia is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. George Dalaras offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Etsi Ein’ Oi An8rwpoi is a medium tempo tune. In Exw Enan Kafene the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. From the moment you listen to Mono Mia Fora you’re hooked. This track is a great song that still never gets old. In Sti Skepsi Tis Trelis George Dalaras is at his best. One listen to the sheer beauty of Thalasses was all I needed. I love the melodic melody of Kapoion Allo Filhses and to this day it makes me feel good. Kapoy Nyxtwnei is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Ta Fantasmata (3:04) - awsome. To Zeimpekiko Kormi Sou is absolutely incredible. It took me a little time but I ended up loving O Palios Stratiwths. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Iptameno Xali is the more seemingly obscure song on Apo Kardias, CD1 that bear up best to repeated listening. Amor Amor - To me, this is the best song on the Apo Kardias, CD1.
