This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Richard Ashcroft. While no new Richard Ashcroft album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2000 tour in Europe. Since completing 2000’s ‘A Song for the Lovers’, Richard Ashcroft fulfilled their contract with Columbia Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Such great and happy songs.
I Get My Beat is one of the coolest songs Richard Ashcroft has ever recorded. I like Brave New World because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. No Richard Ashcroft song has come close to capturing my attention as You on My Mind in My Sleep did. Crazy World - My least favorite song on this album. On a Beach gives taste of what makes Richard Ashcroft special as a musician. Money to Burn is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Alone with Everybody. Slow Was My Heart is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. C’mon People (We’re Making It Now) the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Everybody - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites.
