After debuting at No. 1 last week, Lucio Battisti’s album Contenuti Extra, CD2 falls to No. 2 with 781,000, a sales slide of 59%. This album is awesome.
Gabbianone (inedito) is one of the coolest songs Lucio Battisti has ever recorded. Lucio Battisti allows each song to breathe and flourish. Some call Ich triume (Umanamente uomo) from Contenuti Extra, CD2 as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Il Bell’Addio (Inedito) gives taste of what makes Lucio Battisti special as a musician. Blew our minds when we first heard Il mio bambino (Inedito). Il nostro caro angelo (demo) is nothing but pure genius. Inediti - Ladro (con Equipe84) is beautiful, yet underrated track. Intervista - Insieme A Te Sto Bene - Voce E Chitarra i great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Although Intervista - Mi Chiamo Antonio … Voce E Piano is very melodic it is far from sad. Intervista - Prigioniero Del Mondo voce e chitarra is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. La Folle Corsa - Inedito marked the continuation of Lucio Battisti in style evolution. Within the first few notes of La Pace (inedito) it’s perfectly clear that Lucio Battisti is living this song. I’ve found myself listening to Lady (Inedito) back to back and back many times. Luci-ah -in tedesco is probably one of Lucio Battisti’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Our dear angel (provino) pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Proud Mary (live) can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Lucio Battisti is all about. Provino - Gelosa Cara hits the heart. Respirando-In Spagnolo gets you up and jumping. Lyrics of Si, Vjaiando are precise and evocative. Sin Fundir (Inedito Instrumental) motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Since I Have Forgotten About You (Provino) - To me, this is the best song on the Contenuti Extra, CD2. In To love a bit (1+2+3) you won’t find any flashy solos. Todavia Elisa is a cool sing-along. There is cool mix of music in Toujour plus belle (Comunque bella). La Compania - Espanol defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. No Doctor (Inedito)(1) - A classic Lucio Battisti track. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Contenuti Extra, CD2. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor.
