Since Lucio Battisti last CD (Contenuti Extra, CD1) on SixSteps records back in 2001, I have felt a massive void in my life. Self-described as Folk with lots of words, Lucio Battisti comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Now signed to Lucio Battisti’s SixSteps records, the title track from second album “Contenuti Extra, CD1″ leads Lucio Battisti’s back-to-school campaign. IF you love Lucio Battisti, ‘Contenuti Extra, CD1′ Mp3’s is the best!
Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Lyrics of Anna are precise and evocative. Aquila is excellent and different song. The opening track Balla Linda is very much like you would expect from other albums. (inedito) Eppur mi son scordato di te actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Lucio Battisti’s face. Una triste jornada is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Aspettando Domani ( inedito) (ProvinoRai 1966) is worth the money. Musically Emozioni is superior to other tracks in Contenuti Extra, CD1. Lucio Battisti sings his heart out in Fiori rosa fiori di pesco. Il tempo di morire gives good insight into the truths. What sets Il vento apart is Lucio Battisti’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. I loved Io vivro the first time I heard it. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. (Inedito) Il paradiso non e qui one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. (Inedito) La Pace(1) is another favourite of mine. This track is a great song that still never gets old. (Inedito) Star in a film to me is the best you can get from Lucio Battisti. Charming song, great melody. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. (Provino) Una giornata uggiosa - Check out that bassline! (inedito) Mela Acerba-con Ambra Borelli (1) - My least favorite song on this album. Voice of Lucio Battisti in 29 settembre (Live - Inedito) is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Ancora Tu Inedito Strumentale is perfect. Music and lyrics of Baby it’s you (inedito) creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Album opener Concerto Batteria (Live) is a bright, upbeat ditty. I believe El velero- spagnolo is one of the most gorgeous, heartfelt songs ever written. Eppur mi son scordato di te (live) on Contenuti Extra, CD1 is solid and easy to listen to. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. A Song To Feel Alive (Prova Inedita 4) - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites.
