Since completing 2000’s ‘Zohak’, Dies Irae fulfilled their contract with Virgin Records and where under no obligation to release another album. ‘Immolated’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. It has been fifteen years Dies Irae’ last studio CD, “Immolated” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Dies Irae “Immolated” is an amazing album.
Message Of Aiwaz presents the perfect mix of instruments on Immolated. Sirius B is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Dies Irae sings his heart out in Immolated. The Nameless City - a classic song. I think Bestride Shantak is the best song Dies Irae has ever done. Although Turning Point is very melodic it is far from sad. I loved Hidden Lore the first time I heard it. Lion Of Knowledge is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music.
