On Rough Dreams album, Shivaree have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Rough Dreams carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Shivaree’s debut, ‘Rough Dreams’, does not fit easily into one genre. Enjoy the show.
Voice and instruments in Gone Too Far complement each other. After The Prince and The Showgirl make listening to Shivaree like being in some sort of time warp. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. The song Thundercats ending is my favorite… so catchy! This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Stealing Home hits the heart. John, 2, 14 one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Shivaree breathes new life into the music in Reseda Casino. Ten Minutes is a gorgeous song and it grows on you. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Voice of Shivaree in Flycatcher is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant.
