Since completing 2001’s ‘Intro’, Outlawz fulfilled their contract with Mute Records and where under no obligation to release another album. For older fans Novakane will put a massive smile accross your face. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Outlawz’s album Novakane falls to No. 2 with 807,000, a sales slide of 83%. This is my first Outlawz Album and i must say i am blown away.
Still going through Novakane and coming to appreciate Rize (Feat. Big Syke) more and more with every listen. This Is The Life - another great track from the Novakane album. Song Ghetto Gutta is actually a funny song. Our Life is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Some of the arrangements found on Novakane are surprisingly edgy. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Interlude 1 because the melody in the chorus is so good. If you are a Outlawz fan, you will love Red Bull and Vodka. Excellent vocals and musical performances. I hope to keep hearing Outlawz works for a long time to come. Boxspring Boogie - A strong beat. History is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Outlawz rocks harder than ever with So Many Stories. World Wide Remix is astounding. Music of Die If U Wanna (Napolean Solo) is gentle, never overbearing. Best song on the album, love it. Loyalty I just LOVE this mix!
