Lead single “Crawling From Hell” and “Into The Light” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Since Masterplan last CD (Live At Elysee Montmatre) on Sparrow Records back in 2003, I have felt a massive void in my life. There is so much to love about Masterplan, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. This is my first Masterplan Album and i must say i am blown away.
Into The Light is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Live At Elysee Montmatre. Simple and heartfelt closing track Kind Hearted Light closes Live At Elysee Montmatre on a high note. Soulburn - A catchy, upbeat tune. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Get Live At Elysee Montmatre and turn on Heroes if you are going to sip your wine late at night. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. I now have Spirit Never Die as one of my personal favorites.
