Hank Snow had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. This is the first studio album from Hank Snow since bad diagnosis in 2000. IT makes me wanna dance!
silent_night is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. frosty_the_snowman still maintains something of a specific flourish. The first time I listened to christmas_roses I was struck by its marvelous sound. All of songs on Singing Ranger Vol.3: the Complete Early 50’s Hank Snow (1949-1953) and have something to say letting alone the_reindeer_boogie. Hank Snow offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. in_daddy’s_footsteps is worth the money. mississippi_river_blues good vocals. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. anniversary_blue_yodel is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Hank Snow ever produced. After about the third southern_cannonball listen through, I began to believe this song is Hank Snow’s essence. when_jimmie_rodgers_said_goodb - This one makes me want to not only sing along. my_blue_eyed_jane is the album’s biggest hit, I think. jimmie_the_kid is the first taste of the new album. Once i_went_to_your_wedding gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. when_mexican_joe_met_jole_blon is one of the best records ever. the_next_voice_you_hear is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. i_traded_love is Hank Snow’s best work in years. I listened to the opening track a_message_from_the_tradewinds and liked it a lot. i_can’t_control_my_heart is nothing but pure genius. In for_now_and_always the music gets its power. Vocals of Hank Snow in the_boogie_woogie_flying_cloud really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Within the first few notes of between_fire_and_water it’s perfectly clear that Hank Snow is living this song. honeymoon_on_a_rocketship catches attention immediately, Song the_gal_who_invented_kissin’ is actually a funny song. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music.
