the_only_rose is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Hank Snow ever produced. Once you hear marriage_vow, you will listen to it over and over. the_blind_boy’s_dog has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. the_star_spangled_waltz is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. i_wonder_where_you_are_tonight is a great opener for Singing Ranger Vol.1: the Complete Early 50’s Hank Snow (1949-1953). In nobody’s_child it becomes nowhere more obvious that Hank Snow has yet to define own style. the_law_of_love is a bit of a show-tune. the_engineer’s_child is amazing and different song. the_mystery_of_number_five is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. ben_dewberry’s_final_run one of the best in my collection. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Hank Snow. I’ve found myself listening to hobo_bill’s_last_ride back to back and back many times. One listen to the sheer beauty of one_more_ride was all I needed. i_cried_but_my_tears_were_too is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. I like the agression and power of love_entered_in_the_iron_door. you_pass_me_by is Hank Snow’s best work in years. confused_with_the_blues (2:58) - awsome. Vocals of Hank Snow in (i_wished_upon)_my_little_gold really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. unwanted_sign_upon_my_heart (2:21) a good melody. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. the_golden_rocket motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Singing Ranger Vol.1: the Complete Early 50’s Hank Snow (1949-1953). As always, Hank Snow’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. Hank Snow emotions are reflected through with_this_ring_i_thee_wed. Hank Snow has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving.
