After seeing Warning {Soul Hooligan}, I had to have a good Freestylers cd. Warning {Full Version} Cd 2 carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Lead single “Warning {Soul Hooligan}” and “Bad Boy Love [Feat. Navigator]” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This album is awesome.
Bad Boy Love [Feat. Navigator] - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. Freestylers rocks harder than ever with Broadcast Channels [Feat. The. Scratch 22 {Iay-Rock’s Theme} is a bit of a show-tune. Listening to Blowin Ya Brainz you can hear that Freestylers has still amazing chemistry with band members. Feel The Panic which is my favorite is a truly Freestylers sounding song. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Iay-Rock’s Refix is one of the coolest songs Freestylers has ever recorded. Breaker Beats {Part 1} is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Freestylers ever produced. Warning [Original] - I like this one. Breaker Beats {Part 2} is the albums biggest surprise. You have to get essence of the Now Is The Time’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Rumours Of War [Feat. Navigato is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. When I listen to Warning [Original 12”] in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. This song is dynamic and dramatic. The sound of B-Boy Stance [Live] is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created.
