There were many famous songs of Cult available. This fifteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Cult has. There is no doubt that Cult has talent. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
She Sells Sanctuary - Enuff Z Nuff (3:50) - awsome. Sweet Soul Sister - Shortino, Paul & Jimmy Crespo is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. American Horse - Lee, Jake E. & Tattoo Frank is a strong cut, one of many. Edie (Ciao Baby) - Kendrick, Richard is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Peace Dog - American Dog & Jason McMaster is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Wildflower - Clarke, Gilby is marvelous song though, very addictive. Rain - Turner, Joe Lynn & Reckless Fortune/Arno Hecht stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Coming Down - Craven, Corey - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Still going through Fire Woman: a Tribute to the Cult and coming to appreciate Outlaw - Rachelle, Steve & Richard Kendrick more and more with every listen. Lil’ Devil - Martin, Jim & Dave Campbell/Anand Bhatt is a amazing sing-along. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time.
