This album has some very good songs like Intro and Warum Eigentlich Nicht? (Feat. Esther). Gern Geschehen is an amazing album, racked with beauty.There is no doubt that Blumentopf has talent. Blumentopf is one of my favourite bands of all time.
Warum Eigentlich Nicht? (Feat. Esther) is absolutely incredible. Jeder Zweite Linkt Dich is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Good & bad is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Gern Geschehen have ended. Lyrics of Alle Sind Da are precise and evocative. Da Draussen (Feat. Roger Reckless) is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. In Better Life Gmbh 1 (Feat. Smudo) the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Manajah (Feat. Clueso) is a great opener for Gern Geschehen. Blumentopf is hitting on all cylinders in Alles Gute. Overall a nice softer song. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. In Manfred Mustermann it becomes nowhere more obvious that Blumentopf has yet to define own style. Musically Better Life Gmbh 2 (Feat. Smudo) is superior to other tracks in Gern Geschehen. This song is dynamic and dramatic. There is gorgeous mix of music in Ich Komm Klar (Feat. Clueso). Once you hear Macht Platz, you will listen to it over and over. Da Laeuft Was Schief (Feat. Johanna) is one of the best records ever. Blumentopf rocks harder than ever with Heute Nacht (Feat. Manuva). |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Gern Geschehen. Better Life Gmbh 3 (Feat. Smudo) - Blumentopf first major hit. Listening to Mein Block (Feat. Manuva) you can hear that Blumentopf has still amazing chemistry with band members. Danke Bush! which is my favorite is a truly Blumentopf sounding song.
