On The Story Of Arthur Brown - Cd2 album, Arthur Brown have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. I am not a real Instrumental music type of person, but i have to admit ‘The Story Of Arthur Brown - Cd2′ really is amazing. Arthur Brown’s debut, ‘The Story Of Arthur Brown - Cd2′, does not fit easily into one genre. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
Arthur Brown sings The Lord Will Find You in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Eyesight To The Blind from the beginning to the end. From the moment you listen to The Gremlin (The Song Of) you’re hooked. I like to sing along with Universal Zoo, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. No Arthur Brown song has come close to capturing my attention as The Lord Is My Savour did. Tight Rope is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Speaknotech one is one of the better boring ones. The Fire-Ant Said To The Cockroach has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. What sets Lord Of The Dance apart is Arthur Brown’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Hound Dog - I like this one. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. I was truly moved when I heard Heartaches. Arthur Brown breathes new life into the music in A Hard Rains A-Gonna Fall. In Silver Machine you won’t find any flashy solos. Fire (Remix) is a medium tempo tune.
