Lead single “Angelic Encounters” and “In Utter Darkness” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. It’s natural for Thanatos to take a stab at ‘Angelic Encounters’ considering her long-professed love for Universal Soul. Self-described as Metal: Death,Black with lots of words, Thanatos comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Angelic Encounters is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
In Utter Darkness is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. I’ve found myself listening to Sincere Chainsaw Salvation back to back and back many times. In Infuriated full palet of sound is used by Thanatos to accentuate the presentation. The Howling is outstanding work of Thanatos. Gods Of War makes a person feel exquisite. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Angelic Encounters. Thou Shalt Rot is the more seemingly obscure song on Angelic Encounters that bear up best to repeated listening. Corpse Grinder was the first single release from the album Angelic Encounters.
