This album has some very good songs like Was It A Dream? and Crash. Graeme Revell’s debut, ‘Pitch Black’, does not fit easily into one genre. This is the first studio album from Graeme Revell since bad diagnosis in 2000. This album is a scorcher!
Crash as a highlight of Pitch Black contains a ton of cool melodies. Elegy is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Three Suns marked the continuation of Graeme Revell in style evolution. Graeme Revell sings his heart out in Settelement. Desert Journey - This one is lively and fun. I like the agression and power of Pitch Black. Race Againist The Sun (6:44) - awsome. Total Eclipse has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Graeme Revell’s strong vocals come to the fore. Here is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. I can’t stop playing Clash of The Titans. Move is a bit different from Graeme Revell stereotypical stuff. As always, Graeme Revell’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. The Rapture good vocals. Goodnight is probably the most interesting track on Pitch Black.
