Gemelli Diversi was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Gemelli Diversi and Fuego Platinum Version (cd2) together. Since completing 2003’s ‘Tu No’, Gemelli Diversi fulfilled their contract with Blue Note Records and where under no obligation to release another album. While no new Gemelli Diversi album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2003 tour in Asia. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Gemelli Diversi ever.
You have to get essence of the Tu No’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Tu Corri! is probably the highlight of the album. I hope to keep hearing Gemelli Diversi works for a long time to come. After you’ve listened to Mary, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Best song on the album, love it.
