Heartbeat carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. While no new Fred Ventura album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2002 tour in Australia. This disc has all of the essential Fred Ventura classics. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
Lost In Paris - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Never Too Late is excellent and different song. Heartbeat is probably the most interesting track on Heartbeat. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. No More Lies - Check out that bassline! Imagine - arguably the best track on Heartbeat album. Wind Of Change (4:32) a good melody. Late Night Train is absolutely incredible. It’s My Time (Extended Version) is Fred Ventura’s best work in years. It’s My Time (Radio Version) is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Heartbeat. So much energy, so exciting a sound.The Years Go By (Remix ‘88) is one of my favorite songs by Fred Ventura. You’ll Never Change No More has a fun tempo. Don’t Tun Away can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Fred Ventura is all about.
