While no new Various Artists album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2001 tour in South America. Now signed to Various Artists’s Savoy Records, the title track from second album “Russian Church - Orthodox Mass” leads Various Artists’s back-to-school campaign. After seeing Credo, I had to have a good Various Artists cd. This is one of Various Artists best albums
Ersterer Psalm Davids is a astounding song and it grows on you. I listened to the opening track Gott sei mit uns and liked it a lot. This track is a great song that still never gets old. Herr erbarme dich is probably the highlight of the album. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Tedeum Laudamus stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Unter deiner Gnade is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Excellent vocals and musical performances. A great put together song.
