There is so much to love about Various Artists, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Various Artists energies, virtually a rebirth. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Various Artists’s album Polish Jazz Ep falls to No. 2 with 537,000, a sales slide of 51%. This is what good Pop should be.
Various Artists is one of artists that allow his songs like Tension (Skalpel) to stand on their own and be heard. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Although Directions (Skalpel) is very melodic it is far from sad. It’s a great pleasure to listen to The Fairy Tale From A Dusty Crate (Skalpel) from the beginning to the end. Lyrics of Sculpture (Skaplel) are precise and evocative.
