This disc has all of the essential Various Artists classics. This is the first studio album from Various Artists since bad diagnosis in 2002. I am not a real Pop music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Kruder and Dorfmeister - The K&D Sessions (CD2)’ really is amazing. Exciting stuff.
Sofa Rockets (Sofa Surfers) is simple, dignified and effective, Various Artists refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Vocals of Various Artists in Bug Powder Dust (Bomb The Bass) really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. I love the melodic melody of Boogie Woogie (Kruder & Dorfmeister) and to this day it makes me feel good. Where Shall I Turn (Sin) is the more seemingly obscure song on Kruder and Dorfmeister - The K&D Sessions (CD2) that bear up best to repeated listening. 1st Of The Month (Bone Thugs ‘n Narmony) - This is a very lively song. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Kruder and Dorfmeister - The K&D Sessions (CD2) is Lexicon (Kruder & Dorfmeister). Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Bomberclaad Joint (Knowtoryous) is my favorite song on Kruder and Dorfmeister - The K&D Sessions (CD2). This track is just a stunning masterpiece. Don’t judge Million Town (Strange Cargo) on the first listening.
