On German Hierodeacon - Prayers and raspevy CD2 album, Various Artists have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Various Artists energies, virtually a rebirth. Various Artists’s debut, ‘German Hierodeacon - Prayers and raspevy CD2′, does not fit easily into one genre. This album is awesome.
Great Ektenia (portentous raspev) is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Best song on the album, love it. Overall a nice softer song. 2 nd Antifon (portentous raspev with issonom) is probably one of Various Artists’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Single Syne (znamennoe dvuhgolosie). Voice and instruments in Low Ektenia (residents raspev) complement each other. What sets Third Antifon (portentous raspev with issonom) apart is Various Artists’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Troparion and Kontakion SPPD. Sergius and Herman Valaamskim (voice of the 4 th) Kiev raspev with issonom is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Various Artists ever produced. I hope to keep hearing Various Artists works for a long time to come. Music and lyrics of Blessed gryady (portentous raspev with issonom) creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Body of Christ (Kahetino- Kartolinsky raspev) makes a person feel gorgeous. I came to like Videhom true light (portentous raspev). Yes fulfilled our mouths (portentous raspev with issonom) is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through German Hierodeacon - Prayers and raspevy CD2. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in German Hierodeacon - Prayers and raspevy CD2. Zaamvonnaya Prayer is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Budi name of the Lord (portentous raspev with issonom) is nothing but pure genius. The end of liturgy (portentous raspev with issonom) - To me, this is the best song on the German Hierodeacon - Prayers and raspevy CD2.
