Self-described as Latin with lots of words, Trio Los Panchos comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Lead single “Poquita Fe” and “Perdon” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This is the first studio album from Trio Los Panchos since bad diagnosis in 2001. This is my first Trio Los Panchos Album and i must say i am blown away.
Charming song, great melody. La Hiedra is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Esta Cobardia stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Amorcito Corazon - Check out that bassline! Sin un Amor - This one is lively and fun. I like to sing along with Toda Una Vida, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Mar y Cielo is astounding. No Me Quieras Tanto rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. In Camino Verde you won’t find any flashy solos. Caminemos on Coleccion Inolvidable, Vol. 1-3 is solid and easy to listen to. In Siglo de Ausencia - A classic Trio Los Panchos track. Rayito de Luna is simple, dignified and effective, Trio Los Panchos refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Si Tu Me Dices Ven is possibly the best song Trio Los Panchos has come up. Contigo - A strong beat.
