That’s Not What I Heard is an amazing album, racked with beauty.The Gossip was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from The Gossip and That’s Not What I Heard together. seven years ago, The Gossip briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Got All This Waiting”. Such great and happy songs.
The song Got All This Waiting ending is my favorite… so catchy! In bones you won’t find any flashy solos. Album opener Sweet Baby is a bright, upbeat ditty. The Gossip offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Got Body If You Want It to me is the best you can get from The Gossip. The Gossip is hitting on all cylinders in Where the Girls Are. Bring It On is amazing song though, very addictive. Heartbeats is outstanding work of The Gossip. Catfight is a astounding sing-along. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Southern Comfort is a medium tempo tune. I like the idea behind And You Know. Hott Date is a bit of a show-tune.
