It’s natural for Larry The Cable Guy to take a stab at ‘I Made The Big Time Now’ considering her long-professed love for East 17. Since Larry The Cable Guy last CD (Lord, I Apologize) on Savoy Records back in 2001, I have felt a massive void in my life. Larry The Cable Guy was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Larry The Cable Guy and Lord, I Apologize together. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Lord, I Apologize.
Larry The Cable Guy allows each song to breathe and flourish. Couldn’t Keep The Pizza Lit is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. No Hair - Just A Red Head (3:32) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! In Keep The Chips Fresh full palet of sound is used by Larry The Cable Guy to accentuate the presentation. Jump In The Air and Get Stuck is perfect. Lord, I Apologize couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Let Me Eat Your Shorts. Once you hear Can’t Understand My Accent, you will listen to it over and over. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. Martians Got A Thing For Redneck Fellas is a bit different from Larry The Cable Guy stereotypical stuff. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. Larry The Cable Guy is one of artists that allow his songs like People Like My Analogies to stand on their own and be heard. Toddler Mail is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. The Larry The Cable Guy Song is simple, dignified and effective, Larry The Cable Guy refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more.
