It’s natural for Laika to take a stab at ‘Girls Without Hands’ considering her long-professed love for Ondskapt. Since Laika last CD (Wherever I Am I Am What Is Missing) on Virgin Records back in 2003, I have felt a massive void in my life. There is so much to love about Laika, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Wherever I Am I Am What Is Missing constantly brilliant.
Falling Down is a fine track on any terms. I’ve found myself listening to Alphabet Soup back to back and back many times. Barefoot Blues great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Leaf By Leaf - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. I can’t stop humming along Diamonds and Stones. The song Dirty Bird ending is my favorite… so catchy! Fish For Nails is nothing but pure genius. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song.
