So much energy, so exciting a sound.Bye Bye Blues is a medium tempo tune. Meaning Of The Blues is a strong cut, one of many. About The Blues stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. A fantastic track full of wonder. Blues Is All I Ever Had is simple, dignified and effective, Julie London refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. I like the agression and power of Blues In The Night. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. Well Sir is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. That’s For Me good vocals. Mad About The Boy has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. In The Middle Of A Kiss presents the amazing mix of instruments on About the Blues-London By Night. Julie London rocks harder than ever with Just The Way I Am. Musically My Man’s Gone Now is superior to other tracks in About the Blues-London By Night. This song may be the most meaningful. Pousse Cafe is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Nobody’s Heart is one of the best records ever. Exciting Life is the funkiest number on the album. The first time I listened to That Old Feeling I was struck by its gorgeous sound. Within the first few notes of Cloudy Morning it’s perfectly clear that Julie London is living this song.
