It’s natural for Herbert to take a stab at ‘You Are Unknown To Me’ considering her long-professed love for Ondskapt. For older fans Bodily Functions will put a massive smile accross your face. This album has some very good songs like You Are Unknown To Me and It’s Only. Bodily Functions is the best essence of Herbert.
It’s Only - This one is lively and fun. Foreign Bodies have really caught my ear and imagination. Suddenly is a good listen every once in a while. Once I Know gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. In Leave Me Now Herbert is at his best. The Last Beat - To me, this is the best song on the Bodily Functions. I can’t stop humming along You Saw It All. On Reflection is a marvelous sing-along. So much energy, so exciting a sound.Addiction - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. I Miss You is the song that really did it for me. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Bodily Functions is It’s Only A Reprise. The Audience great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.
